“KoKo’s Kimona’s”

My favorite quilt for the bed! Making the 49 blocks of kimonos was as much fun as making doll clothes! Then I used a vine batik with a “star” sashing pattern to put them together—the batik looks like a trellis of vines around each block. You will see some of the scraps from this quilt used to make postcards (see “A Pair of White Lotus Cranes,” page 56).

This quilt was exhibited at Northwest Quilters annual show.
