Beautiful background print of red rosebuds, hand cut so rosebuds surround the hanky, has been paired with a really lovely embroidered lace hanky. Embellishments include a color-change red and purple opalescent woven ribbon and a red butterfly bead, drilled through the length of the body for easy stitching. See Technique #5 in the book for tips on making quilted postcards from vintage hankies. This quilted postcard would make a lovely Birthday or Thank-You card for someone special.
