This kit has a base of a lovely Victorian print with flowers on a green background. One hanky corner with white and variegated crochet trim has been layered underneath another vintage hanky corner with a tatted edge, hemstitching, and a design tatted within a cut-out. A two-tone opalescent ribbon for the edge of the postcard is included, along with a lavender rhinestone butterfly. See Technique #5 in the book for tips on making quilted postcards from vintage hankies. This quilted postcard would make a lovely Birthday or Thank-You card for someone special.
