FRIDA -- one of my favorite artists! This is a new kit, but there is a postcard with a similar theme in the book (see Page 75). This kit includes the fabric with Frida, and three of her blue parrots, along with three buttons -- a monkey, a blue parrot, and a toucan. The generous swatch of the Frida fabric (see the 6" of yellow measuring tape alongside Frida) provides an opportunity to apply fusible and then cut the flowers and leaves for embellishments, or perhaps you'll choose to make a small "journal quilt" rather than a postcard! Either way, it will be fun to work with as you design your own creation. Kit also includes 22" of ribbon for trim.
